INTRODUCTION:The Department of Commerce was established in the year 2014 with the primary objective of equipping students with comprehensive knowledge in the fields of business and trade. The curriculum is designed to help students understand the dynamic nature of markets, economic fluctuations, and the fundamentals of economics. It also emphasizes key policy areas such as fiscal policy, monetary policy, and industrial policy, which are essential for navigating the complexities of the modern economic landscape.

Over the years, the Department of Commerce has grown into a vibrant and dynamic hub of the college, recognized for its academic excellence and active student participation. Students are not only involved in academic pursuits but also take part enthusiastically in sports,cultural activities, and community engagement, promoting holistic development.

In addition to regular classroom teaching, the department places a strong emphasis on interactive and experiential learning. Students are encouraged to participate in assignments,subject presentations, group discussions, and seminars, which enhance their understanding and improve their communication and analytical skills. Through this balanced approach, the department aims to nurture responsible, skilled, and value-driven commerce graduates who are ready to meet the challenges of the professional world.
